Thanks for visiting the homepage of The Harrison Thomas Pitre Foundation. The Harrison Thomas Pitre foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in September 2003 by Leo and Elise Pitre. It is dedicated in loving memory of Harrison Thomas Pitre, while providing information about Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and Congential Heart Defects among infants.

This foundation operates on volunteer work alone. The Foundation educates, promotes early detection, advocates on critical issues, and organizes a wide variety of programs-including support for the newly diagnosed children and families living with CHD's and HLHS.

Our mission: The Harrison Thomas Pitre Foundation is committed to making a difference in the lives of families faced with Congenital Heart Disease and Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.

If you would like to help us in our mission, call us to learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities. To make a tax-deductible donation, mail your check to the address listed under "contacts" or feel free to phone in with a credit card.

This website will be updated periodically on current events and progress that we've made.

We would also like to express our sincere thanks to all of those who have made donations, sent cards, food, and flowers/plants. All of the prayers and support is the way we are able to make it through each day. Feel free to contact us via email by clicking here.

The intention of this site is to give families affected by CHD's and HLHS a place to find information about our organization. We have no medical training and are not doctors. Always check with medical professionals if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's health.
